"End result was a beautifully fitting front door which looks fantastic"

“We looked at all sorts of doors to replace our old wooden door, but decided that only a good quality solid wood oak door would be right.

Thomas Streeter at Acorn Bespoke Carpentry & Joinery personally provided all the services some companies offer ie Salesman, Surveyor, Designer, Fitter, Craftsman making it a much quicker process to agree the proposed door. End result was a beautifully fitting front door which looks fantastic and is rock solid. My wife summed it up best…. We should have does this years ago. Thoroughly recommend”.

I couldn’t be happier and more satisfied by the service delivered by Acorn!

“Acorn built us custom alcove shelves in our living room – tbh I was a bit skeptical initially due to the price and generally worried about the right builders coming into our home etc. However I couldn’t be happier and more satisfied by the service delivered by Acorn! It takes a lot for me to give a five-star review, especially for building work, but these guys went above and beyond for us. The two builders were so friendly, quiet, diligent and so patient with all of our requests. Super positive folks and they left the place so clean. The building work produced was exceptional, the attention to detail, quality and the level of customisation totally justified the cost. They wanted to make sure we were fully happy before leaving, even if it meant a bit of extra work for them. We’ve had so many family members and friends compliment the work! I’ll definitely be using Acorn again!”

"Each person was a proper craftsman and it showed in their work"

“The design process was thorough and collaborative. Thomas accommodated multiple changes to our vision for the kitchen willingly redrawing the plans. Work started on time and everyone did their best to minimise disruption and finish on time. They turned up when they said they would and each day when they left, the house was as clean and tidy as it could be. Everyone was so friendly and so professional. Each person was a proper craftsman and it showed in their work. We are really happy with the final outcome and commend Thomas and his team for their wonderful work.”

“We had a new door fitted by Thomas at Acorn, and were very particular about the style and measurements we wanted. He sent through thorough drawings and was very helpful with any clarification needed. The door has since been installed and we are over the moon with the quality of the craftsmanship, the attention to detail and the other trades used to complete de job (rendering outside). We will use Thomas at Acorn again in the future and are happy to recommend him to anyone else. He is super professional, left no mess whatsoever during the installation and the whole experience was excellent.”

“I commissioned Thomas and his team to create a bepoke display wall as part of our house refurbishment a few years ago. I can recommend Acorn for attention to detail throughout the process. I would not hesitate to recommend Thomas and Acorn and in fact I have done and know that person was also really pleased with their work. 5 stars thank you and apologies it has taken me so long to write this review!”
